U.S. Rep. Barbara Lee, D-Oakland, picked up an endorsement for her bid for U.S. Senate on Sunday from a fellow Bay Space Home member, Ro Khanna, D-Fremont.
Khanna will function the co-chair for Lee’s senate marketing campaign, a spokesperson for Lee confirmed.
“I’m excited and proud to endorse my good pal Barbara Lee for U.S. Senate. Barbara is the progressive chief Californians want proper now, and her strong file as certainly one of Congress’ most outspoken champions of justice speaks for itself,” Khanna stated in an announcement.
Lee stated she was honored to obtain the endorsement.
